Dr. Wayne Case

Wayne Case is a rare South Florida native who was born, raised, and educated in Dade County, Florida. He is married and has three grown children. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1971 and proceeded to do his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Physician Specialists and also the American Board of Quality Assurance. His practice first opened in 1971 and has been open continuously since.

Dr. Francis Mally

Dr. Mally was born in New York City and was raised in Miami Beach, Florida. She is married and has one daughter. She graduated in 1985 from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She worked for the University of Miami School of Medicine doing medical research for four years prior to attending medical school. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Florida in 1997. She has been in private practice in Hialeah, FL since 1997. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Mally joined the Family Medical Centre in 2006.

Dr. Cheryl Case-Diaz

Cheryl Case-Diaz was born and raised in our South Florida community. She is currently married and has two children. She attended undergraduate school at Vanderbilt University. She then trained at the University of Miami for medical school and residency. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She joined the Family Medical Centre in 2004.

Dr. Seung Kang

Dr. Kang originally hails from South Korea, relocating to the United States in 1990. She received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, California, and completed her medical education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Kang continued with formal internship training at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia, followed by Internal Medicine residency training at Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth, Texas and its affiliated institute, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kang joined Family Medical Centre in September 2008 and has become a valued member of our team. She has enjoyed working with our team doctors and staff members and has taken on many of our new patients as her own.

Dr. Kang believes in treating a patient as a whole person and emphasizes topics such as routine exercise and balanced diet to accomplish health, well-being and quality of life. She practices her own advice, through daily physical exercise such as jogging, swimming and Pilates.

Patricia A. Torres, PA-C

Patty is the newest member of our healthcare team. She was born in Cuba and raised in South Florida.  She attended undergraduate school at Miami-Dade College Physician Assistant program. Continuing her studies she also has a Degree in Health Science from Nova Southeastern University. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).  She joined our practice in 2010.
